Held at The Mart in River North, the recurring One of a Kind Show is always a reliable place to find everything you need for a spring refresh. On April 24-26, the show brings together a curated community of Chicago's most talented makers and artists, offering:
Just a few blocks west of the shopping mecca that is the Magnificent Mile, the legendary P.O.S.H. is in River North one of Chicago's most revered antique stores. This immersive retail space is stocked with vintage goods sourced from auction houses and European flea markets, making it an exceptional place to buy antique home goods and decor.
The Chicago Artisan Market is a traveling indoor market that is held more than a dozen times each year as it moves from location to location throughout Chicagoland. On April 18-19, the market will be at Artifact Events in the Anderson neighborhood. Attendees will find a wide array of local and handmade goods from over 100 vendors in a luxurious two-story space that includes a bar and bistro seating.
Local and independent designers are the stars of the show at Milk Handmade, a small, locally-owned boutique in Uptown, a neighborhood known for its "shop local" culture. Few shops in Chicago offer a better selection of fresh spring clothing, accessories, jewelry, bath and beauty products than this charming boutique.

The indoor Avondale market takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays through the end of March, after which Green City Markets open their outdoor locations in Lincoln Park and The Loop.
A local fashion boutique as well as an eclectic gift shop, Art Effect is a prime spring shopping destination in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
